Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital
Replacing Elko General Hospital and located in Elko, the heart of rural northeastern Nevada, this hospital is brand new and had its grand opening on September 1, 2001. The hospital is a modern 75-bed acute care facility with an adjacent 50,000 sq. ft. medical office building. The facility will have 24-hour emergency services, a full service laboratory, Obstetrics and Gynecology, 24-hour radiology services, and more.

Battle Mountain Medical Center & General Hospital
This medical center is open 5 days a week and has 2 full-time doctors and is a 15 bed acute care hospital.

Emergency Services
Eureka County funds volunteer ambulance/EMT services in Eureka, Crescent Valley, Beowawe, and Pine Valley. The County provides facilities, ambulances, training, and supplies for these operations. Eureka County is served by emergency medical flight service to transport patients to Elko or major hospitals in case of a medical emergency.

Great Basin College
Great Basin College is a member institution of the University and Community College System of Nevada and is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. For 35 years GBC has provided opportunities in higher education for central and northeast Nevadans. The College has also provided specialized training to local businesses and industries such as the mines, hospital, and education. GBC awards certificates of achievement, associate degrees, and select bachelor degrees using a variety of instructional methods. By advancing the academic and professional endeavors of the rural communities and by providing access to quality certificate, associate, and baccalaureate programs, GBC's mission of addressing workforce needs of the regional economy has been enhanced. Currently, the College offers bachelor degrees in elementary education, applied sciences, and integrative and professional studies.

Eureka Opera House
Built in 1880 and recently restored, the Eureka Opera House offers a unique experience for meeting and convention goers. You can enjoy full convention and meeting services while relaxing in a small town atmosphere. The modern meetings facilities and excellent service will make meetings, special events and conferences a pleasurable experience for participants.

The Eureka Sentinel Museum
The Eureka Sentinel Museum is housed in the 1879 Eureka Sentinel Newspaper Building. This structure was used as the Newspaper Office and residence from 1879 until 1960. The ground floor of the building was made into a county historical museum in 1982. In June of 2000 the museum expanded to include both floors of the building. The Eureka Sentinel Museum interprets the history of Eureka. On the ground floor you will find a complete press room from the 1800's complete with posters that were printed by the Eureka Sentinel and then plastered on the press room walls.

Eureka County operates libraries in Eureka, Crescent Valley, and Beowawe through an interlocal agreement with Elko County. Eureka County provides the buildings and certain assets for use of Elko County personnel to run the libraries.
